phoenix Family Photographer
This type of session is great if you want something more fine art, perfect for more formal feel.
I absolutely love photographing this family. Each year we do a studio session and we also include some fun portraits of the kids.
Wall art in an elegant, vintage frame or simple framed canvases are gorgeous for this type of photographs.
family session in the studio
Even though it was a bit hot that day, this session could not have been more perfect. The amazing Papago Park in Phoenix gives all so many background options.
From the palm trees, red rock desert scape with saguaro cacti to water which gives it a tropical vibe to photos. Plus the Arizona sunsets!!!
I love to photograph in beautiful spaces and will do my due diligence to find or brainstorm a location with you that you will love or that is meaningful to you and your family.
fun outdoor session
Waquise/Eric and Kai
Each year, Erin and I choose a unique location for their family session. It definitely fills my head with all kinds of creativity.
This could be a beautiful local nursery, a conservatory, a botanical garden, a park.
Keep in mind that most of these places typically require a permit and possibly an entrance fee. Plus we need to start planning them way ahead of time to coordinate everything but the results are always stunning. If you love unique photos each year, I am open to travel and possibilities are endless.

Family photos raise children's confidence and self-esteem,. it has been studied and proven fact and i am here to help you capture those photos that you will be proud to display on your walls or in an album. I know it can be stressful to plan but i am here to help ease this stress.
Jaclyn, The Counseling Professional, LLC private practice says, “When children grow up seeing photos of themselves proudly displayed around their home, it says to them, 'I am a valuable and important member of my family. I matter. '”
When you are ready to book or want to know more, head on over the contact form and fill it out. Once I receive it, I will reach out to you and find out a best way to communicate. My favorite to start is either a phone call or a Zoom/Facetime to chat about you, I really want to get to know you and what made you reach out to me. I want to make sure that you get to know me and feel comfortable with me. We will discuss your vision for the session and how you would like to be photographed. Then we can go over my packages or how to customize one for you. including heirloom products such as albums, wall art and prints. Only the best products for my clients
1. Say Hello
Once we had the chance to chat and you know that I am the right photographer for you, we will discuss a date and time for your session. That date and time will be secured just for you with a non refundable retainer. I usually only do one session per day, two tops so you will never feel rushed. Along with the retainer, you will sign a contract and I will send you a questionnaire to get more details, we will communicate further about the set ups, outfits and how to prepare for you session.
You will choose a package and we will discuss when payment is due and if you are booking months in advance, you can do a payment plan as well.
2. Schedule it
The day is here, sure it might be a little hectic making sure everyone is dressed and on their best behavior but try to relax and go with the flow.
Children will sense stress and it will make them either scared or uncomfortable or act out.
Take my lead, I will stop and play games and try to get to know your child a bit and gain their trust. Sometimes, babies and kids just will not cooperate, if we have tried everything and they are just not having it, we will reschedule. Don't have too high of expectations though. If a pose doesn't work, be open to playing and having fun. One day the kiddos will be grown and cooperate, when young, be in the moment.
I do want you to feel amazing and not be nervous at all, we will have fun and with my profession posing guidance and editing knowledge you know you will look your best.
I do recommend having your hair and make up done for the session, I offer in studio make up and hair by amazing artists and this can help take away some stress and give you a chance to relax. You can always come already prepared if you have your own HMUA.
Let me know any hesitation or tips and tricks that get your kids to relax and smile. Just come have fun but remember, in 10 years you will want to see the real personalities.
3. the session
After the session, we will schedule a virtual proofing appointment and during that time you will receive a proof gallery, where you will be able to go through the proofs and to choose your images. You can choose the number of images that come with the chosen and paid for package or you can always choose more and add on individual images or upgrade your package all together. I will finish fully editing the images for you within 3 weeks after your images have been chosen.
If you opted for digital only package, I will deliver your images via online gallery for download along with print release and you will be able to print them at your own leisure. When ordering products, see next step.
4. Your Session
This is where the real art begins. Making sure your kids have physical heirlooms to look back on that will last for generations to come.
It is a fact that a child's self esteem is raised by seeing themselves in portraits either on your walls or in albums.
I know we get busy with life and creating albums or ordering wall can be overwhelming so leave it up to the pro, I have curated the best products that are archival and I will create the album layout for you, have you approve the design and send it off to be printed. Same with wall art.
These are quality, handmade items so they take up to 4 weeks to be delivered, at which time, I will contact you to figure pick up/delivery.
5. Your Photographs

"Evelina was absolutely nothing short of amazing! We are so very glad we chose her to do our Newborns photos and couldn't be happier with our choice. She was super friendly, easy to work with and made us very comfortable throughout the entire process.
Would 1,000% recommend if you're looking to have Professional Photos taken!"
I had the best experience with Ejb photography! The photos turned out beautiful and I had so much fun during the session
Evelina was beyond fantastic! She did my maternity photos and newborn photos. I was looking to do a specific pose/look and stumbled across her profile. It was meant to be since she was based out of Chicago, but was moving here to Arizona so we didn't have to travel for maternity photos. My husband and I need a lot of direction when it comes to photos, and she did phenomenal instructing us. Her experience with newborn photos showed! She had the room nice and warm for our daughter and knew how to wrap her to do all the poses. We loved how all the photos turned out!
